Down the Jin Mao Tower by TopDroPics Down the Jin Mao Tower by TopDroPics
I took this picture in the Jin Mao Tower in Shanghai from the 88th floor downwards. I had a really special feeling when i stood up there. May this picture be the evidence of that :)

All comments are welcome off course.

edit: WOW!! Thank you all people!! I have been quite busy lately and have not been able to find a lot of time for my pictures, so I just saw the big news!! Thanks for the DD :D and all the great comments and fav's!

Very nice. I have no idea how you created the effect of the camera being that far out.

This is THE most amazing photograph I have EVER seen. And this is not an understatement. I was talking to my girlfriend at the time, and I said to her "Oh My Fucking God." and I don't curse unless I'm angry or absolutely amazed. I sent her the link, and she said it was amazing too. My god... this picture is so wonderful. It's so curvilinear, and lots of implied line created by the spiraling design of the little parts jutting out. If I could give this picture anything more than a fav and a comment, i would. You should definitely offer a print... I would buy one. For sure.

that really is something else, what a sight!

i think the left side needs a slight crop (very very small) to be symmetrical with the right.
but thats only my picky eyes giving it a thorough look.

again, incredible.

So cool! I love this perspective, but how can you put the camera so "out"? It seems like the place you are standing is so close to the center of the atrium...which is impossible.

Still, a lovely architectural image!

This is amazing! What strikes me first is not the colours - though they are excellent - but the clarity and depth of field. Rarely do
I see shots like this looking as beautifully focused. Most lose it about 'halfway down'. This one DOESN'T. Great shot and worthy
of a DD for sure!

Yeah I understand your special feeling, mine would be vertigo. HAHAHA. Really nice colors, and the angle portrays the architecture well.
